TruckMeet is operated by Kramer's Tumbleweeds Co. LLC, a Florida limited liability company based in Fort Pierce, Florida. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use our platform at truckmeet.polsia.app.

By using TruckMeet, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly when you register a food truck profile:

• Truck name — the name of your food truck as listed on the platform;
• Cuisine type — the type of food your truck serves;
• Location area — the primary geographic area where your truck operates (e.g., Fort Pierce, FL);
• Description — any descriptive content you choose to include;
• Contact email — an email address for businesses and customers to reach you;
• Schedule information — days, times, and locations where your truck will be each week.

We also automatically collect technical information when you visit the platform:

• Usage data — pages visited, time spent, and actions taken on the platform;
• Device information — browser type, operating system, and screen size;
• IP address — used to understand general geographic usage and for security purposes;
• Cookies and local storage — used to recognize returning visitors and maintain a consistent experience (see Section 5).

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Display your truck profile and schedule to customers and companies on the platform;
• Operate and maintain the TruckMeet platform;
• Respond to inquiries or support requests;
• Monitor usage to improve features and user experience;
• Detect and prevent fraud, spam, and abuse;
• Comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not use your information for targeted advertising on other platforms.

4. Information Sharing

The information you choose to put on your public truck profile — including your truck name, cuisine type, location area, description, contact email, and schedule — is publicly visible to anyone who visits TruckMeet. Only submit contact information you are comfortable sharing publicly.

We may share your information with third parties in limited circumstances:

• Service providers — companies that help us operate the platform (hosting, analytics, infrastructure). These providers access information only as necessary to provide their services and are bound by appropriate confidentiality obligations;
• Legal requirements — if required by law, court order, or government authority, or to protect the safety and rights of our users and the platform;
• Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

5. Cookies and Tracking

TruckMeet uses browser cookies and localStorage to improve your experience. Specifically:

• Visitor identification — we store a randomly generated visitor ID in localStorage to understand aggregate traffic patterns. This ID is not linked to any personal information.
• Analytics beacon — we use a lightweight pixel-based analytics system to count page visits and understand which features are being used. No cross-site tracking is involved.

We do not use third-party advertising cookies. You can clear your browser's localStorage and cookies at any time through your browser settings, which will reset any stored visitor identifiers.

6. Third-Party Services

TruckMeet uses the following third-party services that may process data as part of delivering the platform:

• Google Fonts — fonts loaded from Google's servers. Google may collect usage data per their own privacy policy;
• Render — our hosting provider. Application data is stored on Render infrastructure;
• Neon — our database provider. Truck profile and schedule data is stored in Neon's PostgreSQL service;
• Polsia — the platform used to operate and deploy TruckMeet. Polsia processes technical and operational data as part of providing infrastructure services.

Each of these providers has their own privacy policies governing their data practices.

7. Data Retention

We retain your truck profile and schedule information for as long as your listing is active on the platform. If you request deletion of your profile, we will remove your public-facing information within a reasonable timeframe.

Some information may be retained in backup systems or logs for a limited period after deletion for security and operational integrity purposes.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information, including:

• Access — the right to request a copy of information we hold about you;
• Correction — the right to request correction of inaccurate information (you can update your profile directly through the platform);
• Deletion — the right to request deletion of your information;
• Opt-out — the right to opt out of certain data uses (contact us to discuss).

To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the information in Section 10. We will respond within 30 days.

9. California and State Privacy Rights

If you are a California resident, you may have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and related regulations, including the right to know what personal information we collect, the right to delete it, and the right to opt out of the "sale" of personal information. We do not sell personal information.

Residents of other states with active privacy laws (including Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, and others) may also have rights regarding your personal information. We will honor verifiable requests in accordance with applicable law.

10. Security

We use industry-standard security practices to protect the information stored on our platform, including encrypted database connections and secure hosting infrastructure. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Please do not submit sensitive personal information (such as government IDs, financial information, or passwords) through the platform.

11. Children's Privacy

TruckMeet is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted information through the platform, please contact us and we will promptly remove it.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
